October 2017

House of Shadow Silence was featured on the Creative Applications Blog in an article titled Anatomy of a Screen.

August 2017

Portland's Willamette Week newspaper covered the Portland debut of House of Shadow Silence in an article titled "A Portland VR Programmer Picks Up Where a 1920s Film Visionary Left Off."

House of Shadow Silence is set to debut on August 4th and 5th. It will be presented as an interactive VR installation at the Academy Theater in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland (Facebook event). Admission will be free. This project was made with the generous support of the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC).

November 2016

Presenting a new animation at Friends Only, an online gallery that can accessed exclusively at Pacific Place Project Space as part of Amsterdam Art Weekend. The show will be up from November 24th to 27th.

Giving an artist talk at FutureForum, a media art lecture series guest curated by Ryan Woodring. The event takes place on November 14th at at Portland's historic Hollywood Theatre.

Created an umbrella design for Panorella, a new Japanese company selling customizable 360-degree panoramic umbrellas.

Electric Fields, my 2015 exhibition at Upfor Gallery, was listed as one of the top 10 art shows in Portland in 2015 in Art Ltd. Magazine by critic Richard Speer.

October 2015

Action Painting will be included in the exhibition Push/Play at Lake Forest College in Illinois. The exhibition, curated by Miguel de Baca, opens October 9th and runs until November 4th.

April 2015

E.S.P. TV are taking their live broadcast show on the road. Electric Fields I will be screened at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on April 16th, at S1 Contemporary in Portland, OR on April 19th, and at Nightingale Cinema in Chicago on April 25th.

March 2015

The 'Electric Fields' animations are included in the exhibition Post-Photoshop at the Drake Hotel in Toronto, Canada. 'Post-Photoshop' opens on February 25th and runs until April 26th.

February 2015

Upfor Gallery in Portland, OR will be presenting a solo exhibition of my work — featuring a number of brand new animations, prints and a site-specific virtual reality piece. The show opens on February 5th and runs until Feburary 28th.

Electric Fields I will be displayed as part of the opening reception for the exhibition "Unfixed: New Painting" at Arizona State University Art Museum in Phoenix on February 20th. Screening organized by ESP TV.

Interstellar Trippin' (with Syd) will be screened at the Drake Hotel in Toronto, Canada on Friday February 20th, as part of a month-long feature of Plink Flojd videos.

Pushdot Gallery in Portland, OR will present a solo show of my recent work. The exhibition, entitled Digital Gestures, opens August 1st and runs until the end of September.

Swipin' Safari will be included in the 2014 edition of the Currents New Media Festival — in their "Web Art & Apps" category. Action Painting will also be on display — at Zane Bennett Contemporary Art. Taking place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the festival runs from June 13th to 29th.

Action Painting and Swipin' Safari will be exhibited at the San Jose ICA as part of the travelling Poetic Codings show. The exhibition runs from May 31st to September 13th. The opening reception is on June 6th.

SAFARI, SPAMM's (Super Art Modern Musuem) newest online exhibition, launches on May 15th. The show includes my video Swipin' Safari. The video was created using my new iPhone app, which is available for free on the iTunes store.

Action Painting was reviewed in the Boston Globe, as part of the Poetic Codings exhibition.

April 2013

Action Painting will be exhibited at the Boston CyberArts Gallery as part of the travelling Poetic Codings show. The exhibition runs from Friday April 26th to June 2nd.

"Pitter Patter Splatter" (from Action Painting) will be screened in this year's CINESONIKA festival on sound design in Northern Ireland.

PhotoRibbons version 1.2 is now available on the Apple App Store. This version works natively on the iPad and uses Apple's Retina technology.

January 2013

Action Painting and PhotoRibbons will be exhibited as part of the show Poetic Codings curated by artist Jody Zellen at the Fellows For Contemporary Art space in Los Angeles. The show opens on January 26th and runs unitil March 16th.

Action Painting will be exhibited in Tehran, Iran as part of the 2nd Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition at Mohsen Art Gallery. The exhibition, which features work by Kyle McDonald, Memo Akten, Gareth Williams and many others, runs from July 6 to 18th.

Action Painting will be exhibited as part of the exhibition 'What We Call Painting' in Offenbach, Germany and online as part of a virtual exhibition space. The show, curated by Manuel Roßner at CERMÂ also features works by Jeremy Bailey and A.N. Fisher.
